Configuring and keeping track of your notifications is now easier

Notifications are messages sent by the Mercado Pago server based on events in your application. These alerts, once configured, keep you informed about updates on payments, orders, charges, chargebacks, and more.

At Mercado Pago, we understand that the experience of setting up these notifications can be complex. That's why we've launched a new documentation, that aims to provide you with all the necessary information to do it correctly and efficiently. Discover what has changed:

  • New disposition of the information: at a simple glance, you can easily find the main details about each type of notification, including which topic needs to be implemented for each of Mercado Pago's solutions, how to do it efficiently through Your integrations, or during a payment creation, preference, or merchant order, and more.

  • New additional information section: access examples of notifications for different topics and learn about their specifics, as well as clarifications on how notifications work for various Mercado Pago solutions.

  • New Notification Dashboard: we introduce our new feature, which allows you to precisely track Webhook notifications, and give you all the necessary information to make the most of them.

And there's more: in addition to new visual resources designed to help you quickly find the necessary information, we've also launched two new Webhook notification topics. These are alerts for the creation, closure, or expiration of orders (merchant_order) and for the initiation of chargebacks, status changes, and modifications related to the release of funds (chargebacks).

With this changes, you now have all the notification topics available for all Mercado Pago solutions in Webhooks, and the documentation will assist you step by step in implementing them.
